Re: Taillight not working!
What they are talking about is a circuit breaker from the + terminal of the battery feeding the wiring harness red wire. If you have a headlight, the circuit breaker is ok. The breaker could have been replaced by an inline fuse since they can and do go bad. Have you looked closely to the filament? flick it with you finger, sometimes the filament is broken but not obvious. Does the brake light work? Check for wires that may have become unplugged. Usually under the fender bag is where the connections are made for the tail/brake and rear turn signals (indicators for you in UK). If you have a volt meter or know someone with one check for power on the tail light wire and ground. Of the 3 wires going into the tail light, one is ground (Black) and the other two is either tail or brake light, it will be easy to figure out which is which if the brake light is working.

Re: Taillight not working!
Thanks, no lights are working at the back and the headlight is fine. I tried 2 globes and both did not work. I'll check the wires tonight and if I still don't find a fault I'll try the voltmeter. As for the breaker, it was probably removed then.
Just went to check a few wires now and it seems the indicators are not working either

Re: Taillight not working!
I suspect you may find disconnected wires under the fender bag.
