Some of you may remember me though the year asking questions about doing up my XTZ660, and my most recent post about painting it.
Well is with regret that I have lost my baby in the bush fires in Winmalee Blue Mountains along with everything else in my shed (Camper trailer, Fishing gear, all my motorbike cloths and gear, my whole family's Archery equipment, and all my business and workshop tools and stock) I managed to save the house (even through I would have preferred to save the shed
! Overall there was 43 houses lost in out street along with two of my next door neighbours and fighting the fires was like being in a war zone.
I had only just finished painting my Tenere and even though I was planning on White the guy that mixed the paint must have buggered up as it ended up metallic silver, I was fairly happy with the result and had planned a custom sticker kit for it shortly.
Due to the restoration and my business doing it fairly tuff I did not have the bike insured along with everything else in there! So to say the very least Its been a upsetting experience.
