Metal footpegs.

Hi XT'ers,

Does anybody know where I can find metal footpegs for one of these?

Ive got a set of pegs in the shed of an early 90`s XT600, don't know the condition of them though?
What wrong with your pegs? totally rooted, just a bit worn?

Bit hard to see on the of the iPhone. Are they the cheap
wide metal ones they sell on eBay. I have a set on my storm for the last of years.

Hi Mezo and Just Dan,

I've got these pegs on now

I'm looking to replace them with steel, rubberless, pegs to stop my feet sliding off them when stood up through the mud.

Any info on suppliers greatly appreciated.

Hey Dickyb how about these, they are aftermarket for a tm 200 Yamaha I think, i will try and get the address for you if you like em. Your mounts look similar to my XT 550.

Ive just dug through some boxes in the shed & have a set of pegs that would do the job (exact match) form a 91 XT600E,
then i was holding them up against the monitor to make sure & wondered if them rubber bits were an afterthought?
have you looked underneath them? i was just curious if they were slip on rubbers & possibly the metal pegs was there (covered) ?

Any other readers with the same model tell me if that was a standard fitment or aftermarket jobs?

Either way ive got some you can have, just cover the postage.

Whilst your doing the job you may want to add some "Weld on footpeg extensions"

The TW200 pegs pictured above are a perfect fit. I've bought two sets from an eBay seller in Hong Kong for about £12 each including postage to the UK - bargain!

Thank you all for your replies. Cheers Mezo for your kind offer. I've had a close look at the pegs and can't find an easy way to get the rubbers off.

i can second the tw200 pegs, a near direct fit and a massive improvement over stock.
mine set me back about 15 quid and arrived from china in 4 days, stuff from the uk takes longer to arrive

they are an almost direct fit, the spring holes didnt line up on mine but with a little bit of lining up as you fit them they shouldnt shift
