Well, finally assembled from a bunch of bits a red and blue Frankenstein 1VJ HOWEVER it doesn’t run properly yet?!

Symptoms – It starts and ticks over perfectly but applying any sort of throttle it looses power and misfires. At this time the unburnt fuel is really noticeable.

Symptoms – I rode it 22 miles to a car show and it was faultless.

Drove it home for the next 20 miles then it suddenly got hot and then it just stopped.

It could be a number of things and this is a good forum to seek the experts but not probably not me?!

If you have a good spark that's half the battle!
But you say carb is clean it may still be the issue.
But in the first instance I would go for the Carb inlet rubbers as these fail ...
