Thanks for the words of encouragement guys. Had a big development I've managed to find all my parts for a resto. I found a company in Holland with loads of parts so I've bought a mint set of wheels and a headlight cover from them and won a new tank on ebay for 15 quid.

Not updated for a bit. Have been searching for parts but no joy. Have decided to turn this into a street tracker. Plan is 750 front end shorten the forks and new tank tail custom exhaust and so on. Have had it hooked up to a battery all the electrics are good and had engine cranking and compression ...

The 750 uses a different linkage system where the shock passes through the swingarm so it is not a direct swap.

When I get chance I'll measure the width of my yolks so you can compare them to standard, you might not need new ones.

FYI. this looks like a 245mm front disk from a 750 :sherlock ...

Thanks for the replies lads. Front end swap is on then. What about the swingarm from the 750 would that swap over aswell.

Thanks for the Welcomes guys. started the strip down today. Being very careful not to break any bolts that are attached to the frame. Been using loads of wd and a bit of heat and it seems to be working a treat. The frame itself is very good even all the little tabs for the loom are still good ...

As in title can I use the forks and front wheel on My 660 frame or will I need the yokes aswell. Thanx In advance
