Re: 1VJ passed out?!

Hello!

Here is pictures from stator! Im not sure but it looks pretty clean. No bad wires. At service manual it gives source coil resistance between 160-240 ohm and now it only resists 138 ohms, so could that make any diffrence?

Re: 1VJ passed out?!

Hi Jokkis

Have a look at this diagram
http://www.transmic.net/images/working.gif

It's bottom of the page HERE if you can't see it to well.

It shows how your CDI works, the charge coil charges the capacitor inside the CDI box then the pulse from the trigger coil releases the charge to the ...

Here they are.

1. I measured the red and brown wires cdi charging coil and there was 135,5 ohms and at the same spot i have measure power that goes to cdi, wires unplugged. Charge when kick strarted was here like 6,2 volts  .

Re: 1VJ passed out?!

Hello again!
I think I found the bug! I do not know if very many people familiar with regulator and stator resistance measurement, but if I understand correctly then the stator is measured at three points between which the resistance should be about 0.5 ohms, but I have a 100 to 200 ohms!
And the ...

Re: 1VJ passed out?!

Hello again everyone!
Yesterday I checked the wiring to the black / white wire and grabbed it off, but the start-up voltage of the ignition coil black and orange before the removal of a 0.45 V when I took off to 0.65 V, so the connection a little bit improved, but should have something to 12V that ...

Re: 1VJ passed out?!

I do not have any info on the clutch switch. Could be. Removing the black/white wire loose from the CDI will remove any kill function. What year model is your bike? Sounds like it may be a newer model with electric start. IF so, you have a TCI ignition, not a CDI and the info I gave will probably ...
