I am soon starting a rebuild on another 3AJ (hopefully this time it will be more like Mezo's project-then I will be really proud!) , but it depends if I can get a garage before the cold Swedish winter sets in!

Thanks Xtrider! Might be a stupid question, I understand the bead blasting part, but the baking soda part (guessing it is something one can do at home if you don't have a blaster cabinet), you said it would take longer, how do you apply the baking soda?? Many thanks!

Just a quick update from the world of cracked fairings (for some this is already known, but for newbies like myself, it's like water in the Ténéré :hot: -a saver!)...for larger cracks, fibreglass matt + resin (as Mezo kindly advised me :thanks: ) work great and for smaller cracks, fibreglass putty ...
