Good suggestion, :thanks: . I actually saw that when trawling through other threads :thumb: I'll get all the bits ordered and then make a proper job of the carb. I'm not happy that some-one with no clue has been poking about in there........ :bat:

Thanks for that :) Carb has to come out again as it needs a new float bowl gasket, the connecting pipe between the two carb bodies is rotten, and I guess I'll fit the dynojet kit ready for the new can.......The fuel is fine as I've done a couple of tanks now, and used super-plus petrol. I'll re ...

It's the outers that are too short, but you're right. This far in, I have to press on :nod: I'll look at getting a complete set made up :)

You're right, it can't be done...............I bought all the kit, but it is no way any good for the XT..........The Motion Pro cables, which are a must with the Motion-Pro throttle, are too short, end of. Can't even use the fat bars with the stock throttle, as the XT has old style thin bars ...

Hi, my XT600e is doing two thing that are getting to me...............

The idle speed is slow to drop after giving the engine a rev, and as the engine gets warmer, the idle speed goes up......So I can happily set a speed of 1500rpm, and then as the engine gets warmer still it'll go up to over ...

Hi all :wave: (I'm new, and have to presume there is an "all", not just one crusty moderater, waiting for someone to happen along and post...) :rolleyes:

Brief bio; I have three bikes, XT600e 2003, CBR1000rr4, RM125. During this past winter all three have been stripped and various acts performed ...
