Re: HID headlight with LED backup

if you go offroad, not sure if it can handle shocks that well

A ballast is just a coil isn't it? No moving parts or anything? I know the HID beam/dip mechanism is mechanical, my guess is this is what would get bollocksed going off road.
Is it possible to get an HID at 40W/35W (or whatever the ...

Re: HID headlight with LED backup

I've still got the standard lights on mine but was thinking of replacing them with a pair of 65W/55W halogens. Does anyone know if the electrical system will handle this?
Back in the mists of time, I replaced the headlight on my GSX250 with a 110W/90W halogen and although the light was great, the ...

Re: 1vj-3aj gear sets the same?

No doubt someone will be along to correct me but to the best of my knowledge the 1VJ and 3AJ engines are the same. The only parts I have noticed labelled 3AJ are the right engine casing where the serial number is and the oil pump.

Re: Hagon monoshock replacement.

Has anyone got any experience with it? Do you think it would be worth the money? Will it fix the shite rear suspension?

I'll just dip me oar in here, my bike had a Hagon fitted when I bought it. The damping collapsed less than 3000km later, partially due to a fat bastard riding the bike with an ...

Re: 3rd gear

Hi Magic,
That's your 5th gear pair that's knackered, not the 3rd. I just had to change mine, it looked like this:

David Lambeth is the man to speak to about a replacement, PM me for a phone number if ...

Lovely bit of polish on that. I didn't realise they scrubbed up so well. Mine looks like it's spent six months being thrashed around the desert, but then it has.

Re: Drive axle

Pressed 2nd from the input shaft this afternoon, I'm just waiting for parts now.
In the meantime, I'm camping on the roof of a backpacker's hostel and shall be working unpaid in a second hand book shop as of next week.
