90 xt key switch
I have a 90xt 600 the key switch is working but sometimes doesn’t. I have to play with it to get the ign to work. I was wondering can you take apart to clean it or can I put cleaner in the key switch to clean the contacts. The part is discontinued. Any suggestions please thanks

Pinging running hot
I noticed that the bike in traffic running hot and pinging and loss of power. After traffic noticed that running on road still pinging. Next runs ok octane I use is 89 here in the states any help thanks

Good luck on that. I snapped the bolt in the rear bracket when I changed my brakes. Just got a new bolt however have to get my old one out. Just have one in there now, there is a littler stud sticking out to hold it in place, going to get a nut and weld it on there and hopefully back it out

Thanks for the help, Yes it’s hydraulic. Also the manual says that is for pedal height adjustment I thought and the pedal is good. Now does this adjustment adjusts without doing the pedal height? Thanks again

I have a 1990 xt 600 and I noticed that the rear brake pedal when I apply is very low to stop. I installed new pads and still feels very low. I did check the height of the pedal and all within spec of the manual. Is this just the nature of the beast? thanks for your help

It’s hard to get parts for her. I really don’t want to buy used when it comes electric cause don’t want to get burned. I will check the charging system too. Air cleaner k/n cleaning up now and also going through the electric conn and cleaning up. Air cleaner box and boots tied up. Will give her a ...
