Hi, thanks for the reply, but I have solved this already. My theory is that there was no loctite put on the sprocket and the bolts rattled loose
I ended up doing an engine swap so now I have the old engine for spares. It even runs a bit better. Was cheaper to swap the engine because it's hard to ...

Now I took the head off and I think I know what happened.

Re: Vacuum hose routing 1994 tenere

I resolved it by pulling the carb out giving it a good clean. And then adjusting the throttle based on the manual. I would recommend finding a screwdriver 6mm wide and using ...

Clutch cover removal

I recently had the whole clutch apart and it was allright, so I put it back together. I was thinking I could avoid having to let out the coolant, by pulling the water pump out as a whole with the two short screws still ...

Re: Carb replacement
Hi,
Well from my experience that hose is really prone to breaking, I tried to pull it off while the carb was still on the bike and it broke off, but for me it was on the other side of the carb. I just slid it back in there broken and the bike runs fine. No sealant no nothing its just kinda put in ...

Re: XTZ 660, hard to start, when it does it can't hold idle
Aight, I ended up just cleaning the carb, tuned it up and now it runs fine, so happy :)
How do I tell whether the mixture is too rich? or if it runs is that good enough?
The other issue I described still persists, when I reach above 6000 rpm, sudden loss of power for 1-2 seconds. Make a hissing ...
