Bought the IVJ cdi and it fired up nicely with no kickback

Anyone know if this is going to work out or not?
Could it be that I have connected the trigger coil wires wrong?


Either switched or one of the trigger coils has a problem timing the CDI correctly, I would think. Bad news is that there are no spare pickups available, we are stuck with used ...

Hi, i have a Yamaha XT600 43F that I am building for flat tracking with no battery.

I got a CDI from my old TT350 and have tried to use it on the XT600.

Googled around and found that the "ignition advance values" from the different models are almost the same.
TT350 12 degree @1200rpm and 34 ...
