I've got a 4PT just 10 minutes up the road in Hereford.....

What condition was the float pin that holds the float on? (Can the float move easily/freely on it?).
Float isn't holed or split? (Hot cup of water, hold under water with wifes tea spoon, look for bubbles).
Float isn't bent so its touching the sides of the float bowl?
Was the float level adjustment ...

I've already bought a new sleeve (35) and the bolt is okay.

I don't want to pay £22.55 each for these from Yamaha UK as I'm a tight fecker.... Anyone found any aftermarket bushes or kits with these bushes in ...

I put new fork oil, seals & progressive springs in about 2 / 3 years ago ( nothings leaked out)
Suppose I’ve just got to keep fiddling with the pressures till I feel happy...

I can't seem to get my bike (XT600E, 2003) feeling 'right' on the road at the moment. (I use the XT for commuting 40 odd miles a day).

I had Conti-Escapes on (front & Rear) and they handled great on the road... then thought I'd try something different :headslap:

I fitted a Conti TKC70's and they ...
