The "original" was made by Wunderlich from Germany in the 80's, 90's to prevent the brakefluid-reservoir from melting from the heat of the close passing manifold. Wunderlich also sold heat-protections for XT600(Z) carburetors, to prevent fuel from getting gaseous in the float chamber.

:bigeek: Has to be a manifold going very close to the brakefluid-reservoir. Man its close to your leg also.
