Spin around the western cape

Post by xtjoe » Sun Mar 29, 2015 9:04 pm

After my first complete strip on a xt and having some second thoughts about how well it was bolted together(definitely had some spare bolts left) we took it for a first 100 odd km run. With Spannerman and another chum on a DR650 we hit the road--Xt 2 goes well but still getting used to its starting requirements (quicker than xt1) out of somerset over wellington around some of our new wind farms being built changing our skyline. Xt ran superb, We have real gems around the valley and after a few hours and crossing some old steel bridges stopped for chow- home made steak and kidney pie-- nice ride and xt held together well

"Don't worry," he said, "things could be worse ........."
So I stopped worrying and lo and behold, things did get worse!
