Looks like you get rid of the steel handle bars, good call.
I had same prob with my bark busters, I was raising my bars anyway to fit in a steer damper and for better standing up position.
Thanks

Yep the steel bars were pretty trashed. The risers are 30mm higher and feel just right.

So I've 'fitted' (more like forced) the panels today. I'm not 100% sold on them yet. Maybe it's because they're white and I accentuates any imperfection. But I'm hesitant to drop a few hundred on painting and stickers, if it's not going to look mint.

Anyway, here's them on the bike.

I had to stretch them for the holes to line up, which leads me to think that they're going to stress crack in future.

I have to pull my orig to get screws in but that is cause I know I have been rough with bike and changing stuff like dove tailing in a GPS mount through headlight surround and I have a bent tank mount frame, but your photos look more out of alignment than mine. Do the orig panels line up better than that?
Thanks

Yeah the originals are pretty good. The lines are neat and consistent, holes line up well.

These are what you would class as a 'cheap Chineese knock off'.

Oh well, I will be keeping what's left of the originals and maybe one day replace them piece by piece as they come up for sale. Then get that set painted up.

So here's a very brief video of the popping I'm getting. It's more like a crack when you give it a fist full. This is with the exhaust holes filled.
